Super Crooks
Super Crooks is an animated series based on the comic book of the same name written by Mark Millar and illustrated by Leinil Francis Yu. The series was scripted by Dai Satō, drawing inspiration from Millar's story, and directed by Motonobu Hori, thus making his debut as a solo director. Streamed on Netflix, the series comprises 13 episodes and launched globally on November 25, 2021. It is considered a spin-off of Jupiter's Legacy. In June 2021, a live-action series based on Super Crooks was announced in active development, becoming the second spin-off series from Jupiter's Legacy, which was concurrently canceled. The plot follows Johnny Bolt, a petty thug, who recruits a team of eight supervillains to carry out an overpowered robbery. This band of criminals endowed with extraordinary powers embarks on an extraordinary heist, using their superhuman skills to carry out their audacious project. With its mix of action, superpowers and crime, Super Crooks promises a thrilling and unique adventure in the universe of superheroes. The series explores the dark and intriguing sides of the villain world, providing viewers with an engaging story full of twists and turns.
