Katamari

Katamari is a video game series created by Keita Takahashi and launched by Namco in 2004 with Katamari Damacy. Players control the Prince, who is tasked by his father, the King of All Cosmos, with rebuilding the stars by rolling a sticky ball called a Katamari. As it collects objects, the ball grows large enough to pick up everything from everyday items to entire buildings. The franchise stands out for its unusual gameplay concept, absurd humor, colorful art style, and eccentric soundtrack.
