Hellagur played a vital role in many battles, including the Battle of the Four Emperors and the 10th Ursus-Kazimierz War, demonstrating his skill and loyalty to Ursus. However, his life is marked by two major traumas resulting from betrayals. The Bloodpeak Campaign forced him to kill his close friend, revealed to be a Higashinese commander, leading to his retirement and management of the Azazel Clinic, an underground clinic for the infected. In a second trauma, a betrayal orchestrated by another friend confronted him with a life or death situation, testing his dedication to his beliefs.
Hellagur, in response to the increasing persecution of the Ursus Infected, rises against the Empire he once served. Despite his refusal to collaborate with Reunion, his loyalty to his beliefs and his oath to Buldrokkas'tee push him to return to Rhode Island after the tumultuous events of Chernobog.
