At first glance, Varang clearly isn’t just another inhabitant of Pandora, but a warrior caught in the middle of a hunt. This official polystone statue stands around 37.5 cm tall (with a footprint of 23.2 x 27.4 cm) and is produced at 1/10 scale as part of Iron Studios’ Art Scale line. She is posed on a base shaped like twisted, broken wood and rugged rock, body leaning forward and blade raised, as if frozen in the middle of a clash in the wild world of Avatar.

The composition pushes her fierce, commanding presence to the front: one leg steps ahead, one arm thrust forward with a curved weapon, and her whole body feels coiled like a spring. Her gaze is fixed outward, torso turned slightly and tail following the movement, giving the impression of a fighter who is fully alert and ready to strike at any moment. It feels like you’re looking at a seasoned huntress who knows every root and branch around her, using Pandora’s hostile terrain as an advantage rather than an obstacle.

Looking closer, you can see blue-grey skin decorated with red war paint running from her face down across her chest and along her arms. Varang wears very little clothing, mainly a loincloth made of woven fibers and hanging elements held by a belt, which emphasizes her slim, athletic build. Her head is crowned with an impressive headdress, formed from tall vertical plates and fan-like sections that suggest rigid feathers or leaves, giving her an almost ritual, ceremonial air. She wields two curved blades, one extended forward and the other swept back, while the sculpted base of roots and dead wood adds weight and drama to the scene, and provides a wide, stable platform for display.
