BanG Dream! follows several high school bands chasing their dream of playing live on stage, and Poppin’Party is the flagship group of the franchise. This box set brings together all five members in chibi form: Kasumi Toyama, Tae Hanazono, Rimi Ushigome, Saya Yamabuki and Arisa Ichigaya. Each official PVC figure stands about 9 cm tall and belongs to Bushiroad’s PalVerse line, and a full box of 6 figures always includes the five different characters plus one extra random duplicate from the same lineup.

In the story, Poppin’Party is the band that kicks everything off: Kasumi is the hyper-motivated singer and guitarist, Tae is the laid-back guitarist, Rimi is the shy but passionate bassist, Saya is the dependable drummer who holds everyone together, and Arisa is the sharp-tongued keyboardist with a surprisingly soft side. Their mix of personalities creates a warm, energetic atmosphere, from practice sessions and impromptu lives to more emotional scenes between friends. The PalVerse figures capture that feeling nicely: Kasumi looks like she’s about to hype up the crowd, Tae and Saya strike relaxed but lively poses, Rimi keeps a soft, cute expression, and Arisa steps forward with her usual determined look.

Design-wise, each member wears her stage outfit with her signature colors. Kasumi shows up in red and blue, hair ribbon in place and a bright smile. Tae is dressed in blue with long brown hair and a matching headband. Rimi stands out in pink and navy, with short twin tails and a headband that emphasizes her adorable vibe. Saya sports orange and blue with her hair partly tied up and a very energetic pose. Arisa combines purple, white and a hint of green, her blonde twin tails framing sharp, expressive eyes. The super-deformed proportions with big heads and large eyes give the whole group a cohesive look when you display all five together, while keeping the footprint small on your shelf.
