Batman is the Dark Knight of DC Comics, Gotham City’s vigilante who relies on his intellect, training and willpower rather than superpowers. This official Batman (Damage) figure stands about 16 cm tall and appears as an articulated piece from the Miracle Action Figure (MAFEX) line. Produced by Medicom Toy, it shows the Caped Crusader in a “battle damaged” state, still ready to fight even with visible marks on his suit.

Behind the mask, Bruce Wayne carries on his war on crime, using fear as a weapon along with a full arsenal of gadgets. Relentless and methodical, he keeps going even when wounded, which is exactly what this Damage version calls to mind. The included head sculpts, ranging from a grim closed-mouth look to a shouting expression and a teeth-clenched snarl, let you display different sides of the character, from cold strategist to cornered brawler.

Design-wise, the figure features his classic grey bodysuit with dark navy-blue cowl, gloves and boots, plus the raised bat emblem on his chest and a large yellow utility belt around his waist. The dark blue fabric cape is tattered along the edges, emphasizing the “just back from battle” feel, while a bandaged cut on his right arm adds a clear sign of damage. Batman comes with several accessories, including a long sword with a golden guard, bat-shaped projectiles and a grappling device with a cable.
