In the Conjuring Universe, Malthus is the demon bound to the cursed doll Annabelle, an entity that preys on fear and broken families. This Ultimate figure by NECA stands about 18 cm tall and brings that movie design to your shelf, with a lanky demonic body, cracked skin and towering horns that instantly scream trouble.

Malthus uses Annabelle as a conduit to enter people’s homes, slowly tormenting them until they’re completely consumed by terror. Here he’s captured mid-threat, arms spread and clawed fingers reaching out as if he’s about to snatch a soul. The central red “eye” on his chest and the aggressive stance really sell the idea that this is the force lurking behind the doll rather than just a generic monster.

Visually, the figure is loaded with sculpted detail: rough, dark skin etched with creases and ridges, bony protrusions along the limbs and big twisted ram horns with a brownish gradient. You get three interchangeable heads with different sinister expressions, plus multiple sets of hands with long, sharp fingers and alternate lower legs to change his silhouette. Set up on a shelf, the tall frame and strange proportions give Malthus a very unsettling presence.
