In Cowboy Bebop, the Swordfish II is Spike Spiegel’s personal ship, used during his bounty hunting missions across the solar system. With its sleek red silhouette, long front cannon and compact cockpit, it is one of the most recognizable machines from the series. This Swordfish II plastic model comes from Good Smile Company’s MODEROID DX-SCALE line, is produced in 1/48 scale and measures about 36 cm long by 30 cm wide.

In the anime, the Swordfish II reflects Spike’s style well: fast, sharp and built for dangerous chases as much as space combat. The ship appears in several memorable action scenes and remains closely tied to Spike’s past as a pilot. The kit captures that presence with movable elements such as folding wings, rotating fins, landing gear, a plasma cannon and an opening cockpit, while also including an adjustable stand for flight display.
