In Digimon Adventure, Agumon is Taichi Yagami's partner Digimon and one of the central characters of the journey through the Digital World. Agumon accompanies Taichi from the beginning of their adventure and can evolve into Greymon when the situation demands it, later reaching increasingly powerful forms throughout their battles.
