It’s hard not to think back to early Dragon Ball when you see this little Son Goku in his training outfit. This official PVC figure stands about 11 cm tall and depicts him as a child in the “The Chronicle of Goku” series. Part of Bandai’s Ichibansho line, it captures his classic young Saiyan look with the tail on his back, ready for more training and adventures.

In the story, Goku starts out as a naïve but incredibly strong boy who leaves his mountain home, meets Bulma, Master Roshi and the others, and eventually grows into the hero who protects Earth. Always eager to train and never one to turn down a fight, he still keeps a simple, honest heart that draws people to him. The figure brings that mix of determination and innocence across nicely: his focused expression, fighting stance and visible tail all remind you he’s both a tiny warrior and a curious kid at this point in the series.

The figure shows Goku in a purple gi, tied at the waist with a white belt knotted in front, with the trouser legs slightly rolled up around the ankles. His black hair spikes out in all directions with a lock falling forward. He wears red wristbands, black shoes with light soles, and his brown monkey tail curls out behind him in a gentle curve. He’s posed in a low fighting stance, one hand open and reaching forward and the other pulled back, ready to spring into action, which gives this small-scale figure a surprisingly dynamic presence on display.
