Getter Robo is a cult Japanese super robot saga created by Go Nagai and Ken Ishikawa. The series is built around three Getter Machines that can transform and combine in different ways to form several robots suited to different combat situations. This official Dynamic Change R set by FREEing includes Eagle, Jaguar, and Boar, allowing you to recreate Getter-1, Getter-2, or Getter-3 depending on the chosen configuration, with only one robot form displayable at a time from a single set.

In the Getter Robo universe, the Getter Machines are piloted by Ryoma Nagare, Hayato Jin, and Musashi Tomoe, three strong personalities brought together through Professor Saotome’s project. Their mission notably pits them against the Dinosaur Empire, with battles where each Getter Robo combination brings a different approach: Getter-1 as the main form for aerial combat, Getter-2 for speed and sharper attacks, and Getter-3 for heavy power. This set directly recreates that central mechanic of the series by focusing on the transformation and recombination of the three machines.

The set can form three distinct robot configurations, with more realistic proportions and a strong mechanical presence. Getter-1 stands out through its red, white, and yellow armor, large red pointed head design, and balanced silhouette. Getter-2 has a slimmer form, with white, red, and blue parts, as well as an arm equipped with a drill. Getter-3 features a lower and bulkier silhouette, with tank treads, large mechanical arms, and a more compact structure. The integrated metal parts add weight to the set, while the articulation allows for varied poses across the different forms.
