Gintama - Shimpachi Shimura figure, Look Up (with gift)

Shimpachi Shimura comes from Gintama, a series that jumps between absurd comedy, real fights, and surprisingly serious moments in a modernized Edo shaped by the Amanto. This official figure depicts him in the Look Up format in PVC, about 11 cm tall, manufactured by Megahouse, in a (with gift) edition meant to round out the display.

In the story, Shimpachi is often the Yorozuya’s “normal” anchor—the one trying to keep things sensible when everything goes off the rails, without giving up on what he believes in. He’s loyal, hardworking, and constantly pulled into trouble even when he’d rather have a quiet day. A lot of what makes him stand out comes from his relationships, especially within the trio with Gintoki and Kagura, where he acts as the grounded counterweight to nonstop chaos. The figure captures that feel with a calm, observant presence instead of a flashy action moment.

Visually, Shimpachi is sculpted sitting with his knees drawn up, hands resting in front on his legs, wearing a small, gentle smile. He has clear round glasses, short black hair with thick bangs, and large brown eyes. His outfit reads like a kimono/hakama look: a light gray top with blue trim and blue sleeve stripes, dark blue bottoms, and white feet with a black edge. The seated pose is perfect for placing him on a shelf edge or desk, and the “with gift” edition shows a small blue square cushion with stripe patterns, a glasses motif, and a name tag.
