Gintama Exhibition Part 2 - Kagura figure, Ichibansho

In Gintama, Kagura is one of the series’ most iconic characters, instantly recognizable through her orange hair, signature umbrella, and explosive presence within the main trio. As a member of the Yorozuya alongside Gintoki and Shinpachi, she brings a very distinctive energy to the story, blending absurd comedy, overwhelming strength, and sincere attachment. This official Kagura PVC figure by Bandai, from the Ichibansho line, stands approximately 17.5 cm tall and presents the character in a restrained version that stays faithful to her classic look.

Within the world of Gintama, Kagura holds an essential place because she embodies both a large part of the series’ humor and a real emotional depth. As a member of the Yato clan, she carries immense strength and a violent heritage that sharply contrast with her spontaneity, endless appetite, and often very direct view of the world. Her relationship with Gintoki and Shinpachi forms one of the emotional cores of the story, while her bond with Kamui and Umibozu gives the character a more painful and intimate dimension. She brings to Gintama a rare balance of exuberance, tenderness, brutality, and loyalty, and the figure reflects that identity well through a straight, calm attitude immediately tied to her image.

Visually, the piece shows Kagura standing in a simple frontal pose while holding her closed purple umbrella in one hand. She wears her dark red Chinese-style outfit with long sleeves and gold trim, featuring a long front slit and a wide black belt with double buckles around the waist. Her tall black boots reinforce the vertical silhouette of the design. Her orange hair is styled into two lifted side buns with dark blue and gold round ornaments, while her blue eyes remain sharp and focused. The overall presentation is very clear and easy to highlight on display.
