Godzilla - Gigantis figure Standard, Toho Kaiju Wars

Gigantis is a fascinating “phantom kaiju” connected to the American history of Godzilla. The creature was originally designed to appear in newly filmed scenes for Gigantis, The Fire Monster, the American adaptation of Godzilla Raids Again, but the project was ultimately abandoned before production. X Plus now brings this long-unseen monster to life as an official PVC figure standing approximately 17 cm tall.

This recreation was developed using surviving reference materials from the original project in order to reproduce Gigantis’ intended appearance as faithfully as possible. The character retains a silhouette immediately associated with Godzilla, including a massive build, long tail and distinctive dorsal plates, while displaying its own facial structure and design elements reflecting this alternate interpretation created for American audiences.

Gigantis is depicted standing in a heavy and threatening pose with its arms slightly extended and its head turned to one side. Its dark skin is covered with fine textures resembling thick scales, while pale claws and bluish-grey dorsal plates contrast with the rest of the body; its elongated face, small eyes and tooth-filled jaws strengthen the primitive appearance of this forgotten kaiju. This Standard Version joins the TOHO KAIJU WARS line.
