In Godzilla vs. King Ghidorah, Mecha-King Ghidorah is created after King Ghidorah’s remains are recovered from the ocean floor and rebuilt using advanced technology from the 23rd century. Transformed into a cyborg combining living tissue with mechanical components, he is sent into Shinjuku to confront Godzilla during the film’s final battle. Hiya Toys recreates this appearance in the EXQUISITE BASIC line with an approximately 33 cm tall articulated “Battle Damaged Version” figure.

The figure combines the golden scales of its organic sections with extensive silver-grey armor covering the central head, torso and several areas of the wings. Torn membranes, damaged surfaces and numerous battle marks reproduce the monster’s condition following its confrontation with Godzilla, while the three necks, long tails and widely spread wings create a monumental silhouette. Multiple points of articulation allow the heads, limbs and overall stance to be adjusted.

The accessories include a mechanical capture hand, four restraining cables with attachment clamps and three gravity-beam effects in yellow, green and red. The abdominal armor covering can be removed and the side panels opened to attach the restraint system used against Godzilla, allowing key moments from the Shinjuku battle to be recreated.
