In Godzilla: Tokyo S.O.S. (2003), Mechagodzilla, also known as Kiryu, returns to battle in Tokyo after nearly defeating Godzilla during their previous confrontation. Hiya Toys recreates the formidable machine in the Exquisite Basic Series with this articulated Mechagodzilla Heavy Arms / High Mobility Version figure, standing approximately 19.5 cm tall.

Created from Godzilla’s DNA, Kiryu now fights alongside Mothra against the King of the Monsters. This version can recreate both its heavily armed configuration using the large backpack unit and more mobile combat situations. It includes two electromagnetic railguns, two thruster nozzles, a spiral claw and an interchangeable hand, while the Triple Hyper Maser Cannon, energy cables, riveted structures and MFS-3 marking are incorporated into the design. Multiple articulation points allow a wide range of poses while preserving the mechanical appearance seen in the film.

In the image, Mechagodzilla is shown standing in a slightly forward stance with its arms held apart and its long articulated tail visible behind the body. The metallic grey armor is built from numerous plates, joints, rivets and mechanical components, with darker tones and weathering effects applied throughout. The angular head, clawed feet, segmented tail and technical chest details reinforce the appearance of a massive combat machine.
