Godzilla (1954) - Godzilla figure

Godzilla, the iconic creature from the 1954 Japanese film Godzilla, is presented here in his original appearance as an approximately 16 cm tall PVC statue. Produced by X-Plus, this interpretation recreates the massive reptilian design that established the kaiju’s visual identity in the very first entry of the franchise.

In the 1954 film, Godzilla emerges after being awakened and irradiated by nuclear testing, becoming a destructive force threatening Japan. This first incarnation is defined by an especially dark and imposing appearance, with a heavy silhouette, deeply textured skin and the large dorsal plates that would become inseparable from the character.

The product image shows Godzilla standing with his body turned slightly to the side, arms spread apart and his long tail resting behind him. His body features a rough dark texture, while the dorsal plates are finished in a lighter shade that clearly separates them from the silhouette. The head, claws and powerful legs reproduce the stocky appearance characteristic of the suit used in the original film.
