PREORDER - Grendizer - Grendizer Battle in the Skies figure, Scene Selection

Grendizer, the giant robot created by Go Nagai, returns in an aerial battle scene with this 14 cm PVC figure from Plex's Scene Selection line. Titled Grendizer Battle in the Skies, this diorama depicts the robot piloted by Duke Fleed as he separates from his flying saucer, the Spazer. The composition brings together both machines, a sculpted cloud display and battle effects inspired by the UFO Robot Grendizer anime series.

In UFO Robot Grendizer, Duke Fleed uses his robot to defend Earth against the forces of King Vega, who destroyed his home planet, Fleed. The Spazer plays an essential role in these battles, allowing Grendizer to travel through space and fight in the air before separating from it to confront enemies directly. This fourth entry in the Scene Selection line captures that mid-flight separation. The removable Spazer and diorama components offer different display arrangements, recreating several aspects of this aerial sequence.

The figure shows Grendizer flying horizontally through the air, with both arms extended forward and his legs stretched behind him. His black, red, silver and blue armor contrasts with a large translucent orange impact effect positioned at the center of the composition. Behind him, the Spazer appears at an angle, featuring its silver structure and red components, surrounded by an orange-colored trail. The scene rests on a sculpted base of pale blue and white clouds, shaped to suggest motion and altitude.
