In the Harry Potter universe, the Golden Snitch is the tiny winged ball the Seeker must catch to secure a decisive advantage in a game of Quidditch. Ugears recreates it here as an officially licensed wooden 3D puzzle inspired by both the books and the films, with a design that also recalls Harry Potter’s personal Snitch.

This mechanical model works with an internal spring powered by a pull string, which sets the wings flapping as soon as it is released. The model can be held in the hand to watch it move, suspended from its loop, or displayed on its dedicated stand. The body bears the inscription “I Open at the Close,” a reference to the object left to Harry by Dumbledore. The mechanism uses a silent ratchet system and a pendulum to regulate the wing motion.
