PREORDER - Harry Potter - Wooden 3D puzzle Poudlard Express

In the Harry Potter universe, the Hogwarts Express connects King’s Cross Station in London with Hogsmeade, carrying students toward Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry each year. Ugears recreates this iconic train as a mechanical wooden 3D puzzle consisting of a locomotive, coal tender and passenger carriage, together with a section of track and a Platform 9 ¾-inspired buffer stop.

The locomotive is based on the GWR 5972 Olton Hall used in the Harry Potter films and is powered by a metal spring motor. A dedicated key winds the mechanism while the smokestack acts as the Start/Stop control, setting the gears, wheels and connecting rods in motion and allowing the train to travel approximately 4 meters with both cars attached or 6 meters with the locomotive alone. The tender includes a compartment for storing the winding key, while the passenger carriage features three compartments, three opening doors and a removable roof. Figures of Harry Potter, Hermione Granger and Ron Weasley can be placed on moving supports inside the carriage or displayed beside the train. The advanced-level 504-piece kit assembles without glue or special tools.

The model features a long light-wood locomotive with much of its mechanical structure left visible between the boiler panels, exposing the gears, wheels and connecting rods. The front bears the Hogwarts Express name, while the side includes Hogwarts Castle markings and the number 5972 near the cab. The tender and passenger carriage extend the display along the included track section, with engraved and cut-out details defining the panels, windows, wheels and structural elements of the train.
