PRÉCOMMANDE - House of 1000 Corpses - Doll Captain Spaulding, LDD Presents

In House of 1000 Corpses, Captain Spaulding welcomes travelers to his bizarre gas station and Museum of Monsters & Madmen, an unsettling gateway into the world of the Firefly family. Mezco Toyz brings him to the LDD Presents line as an approximately 25.4 cm articulated doll inspired by his appearance in Rob Zombie’s film.

Both grotesque and disturbing, Spaulding uses his clown persona as a front before directing unsuspecting visitors toward the horrors waiting beyond his roadside attraction. The doll features 5 points of articulation and recreates his distinctive clown outfit. It comes packaged in a die-cut window box that keeps the character clearly visible while displayed in its packaging.

Captain Spaulding is depicted with white, blue and black clown makeup, a dark beard and a wide grin. He wears a striped and star-decorated top hat, a red, white and blue patterned jacket, a white T-shirt featuring a hot dog graphic and blue trousers covered in large white polka dots. Red shoes complete the character’s twisted take on patriotic carnival imagery.
