In the series, Yuji is a high schooler with abnormal physical strength who gets pulled into the jujutsu world after swallowing one of Sukuna’s fingers, becoming the vessel of a terrifying curse. Even so, he’s driven by a strong sense of what a life is worth, even when the situation forces impossible choices. His path is shaped by the people around him and by the constant weight of what he carries, to the point where he’s seen as someone who should be executed. That pressure comes through here, with a restrained presence and a face that doesn’t try to “perform” a big pose.
