That’s where we meet Maomao and Jinshi, the iconic duo from The Apothecary Diaries (Kusuriya no Hitorigoto), now captured in these adorable and expressive chibi-style figures. Maomao, a brilliant young apothecary with a sharp wit, uses her deep knowledge of medicine and poisons to solve mysteries that others can't even see. At her side stands Jinshi, a high-ranking official whose striking beauty conceals a cunning mind, quietly working to unravel the palace’s hidden truths.

Kusuriya no Hitorigoto, originally a popular light novel turned manga and anime, transports us to a fictional version of ancient China, where social hierarchy, courtly life, and medical enigma intertwine. The story follows Maomao, who is forcibly taken into service at the imperial court but quickly rises in notoriety due to her deductive skills. Jinshi, mysterious and elegant, acts as her protector and occasional partner, navigating his own complex political landscape.

This set of two figures is part of the Look Up collection by Megahouse, known for its cute chibi figures gazing upward with large, expressive eyes.
