In The Apothecary Diaries, Jinshi holds a central position within the imperial court and regularly becomes involved in the cases entrusted to Maomao. This officially licensed plush keychain measures approximately 12 cm and recreates the character in a compact, stylized format designed to be carried or attached using the loop at the top.

Jinshi presents himself as a high-ranking official of the rear palace, where his exceptionally refined appearance constantly attracts attention. He quickly notices Maomao's medical knowledge and sharp powers of observation, calling on her to investigate various incidents involving the women of the court. Behind his often playful behavior and obvious interest in the young apothecary, his role and true position within the palace form an important part of the story.

The plush depicts Jinshi with long dark-purple hair framing his face, large embroidered violet eyes and a simplified smiling expression. He wears a dark blue and purple outfit edged with yellow, with a purple ribbon tied around the waist and a green lower section visible beneath the clothing. A loop is integrated at the top of the head so this miniature version of Jinshi can be used as a keychain.
