Super Mario - Yoshi light, GloBuddies

Yoshi, the famous green dinosaur from the Super Mario universe, appears as an 18 cm GloBuddies light produced by Paladone under official Nintendo license. A loyal companion to Mario throughout many adventures, he is depicted sitting with a large white egg decorated with green spots between his feet. This decorative light recreates his rounded proportions and distinctive colors while incorporating a lighting feature inspired by the cheerful world of the Super Mario games.

First introduced in Super Mario World, Yoshi is an inhabitant of Yoshi's Island who can swallow enemies using his long tongue and turn certain objects into eggs. He regularly accompanies Mario on his adventures but also stars in his own games, including the Yoshi's Island series. Eggs play an important role in his world, serving as projectiles or containing various objects and characters. This GloBuddies light draws on that familiar element by placing a large egg in front of Yoshi, forming the illuminated part of the design.

The light depicts Yoshi sitting with his large green head, rounded snout and oval eyes with black pupils. His cheeks and belly are white, while his red saddle-like shell is visible on his back. Small green spikes run along the back of his neck, and his arms reach forward above his large orange shoes with yellow soles. Between his feet, he holds a white egg decorated with large green spots, designed to diffuse light through its surface. The smooth, rounded shapes recreate the character's familiar appearance from the games.
