In MARRIAGETOXIN, Hikaru Gero is the heir to a family of assassins specializing in the use of poison. Raised from childhood to become an assassin, Gero masters a variety of poisons and techniques passed down through his clan, but faces a very different challenge when his family demands that he find a wife in order to secure the family line. His encounter with marriage swindler Mei Kinosaki begins an unlikely partnership: Gero uses his skills to protect his potential dates while Kinosaki attempts to teach him the complicated rules of romance.
