Milky Subway The Galactic Limited Express - Kurusu Makina figure, Nendoroid

Kurusu Makina appears in Milky Subway The Galactic Limited Express, an offbeat universe that blends science fiction, humor, and strongly stylized character designs. Her immediately unusual appearance fits perfectly within that visual identity, with a silhouette and color palette that make her recognizable at first glance. This official 10 cm PVC figure by Good Smile Company, part of the Nendoroid line, presents her in an articulated chibi format that highlights both her design and the variety of her expressions.

In this work, Makina gives off a very distinctive presence, at once strange, lively, and expressive, with a personality that seems able to shift from almost blank calm to much more nervous or unusual reactions. The Nendoroid format suits that reading of the character especially well, since it allows several moods to come through with alternate faces and accessories. The figure therefore captures multiple sides of Makina, from a composed attitude to a more irritated mood and a lighter tone, while keeping a very clear connection to her instantly recognizable design.

Visually, Kurusu Makina is shown with black hair styled into short twin-tails, with the ends fading into a vivid pink, while a large turquoise fringe covers the upper part of her face. Her blue-green skin and the small marks visible on her face further reinforce her unusual appearance. She wears a purple varsity-style jacket with yellow details, a light inner top, blue-green shorts, and matching socks and shoes in purple, white, and black tones. The different product images show several expressions, including a neutral face, a more irritated look, a lighter expression, and a more comedic leaning-back pose. A few accessories are also visible, including a plate held in front of her and a small fan. Its articulated format makes it easy to display on its own or alongside other Nendoroids.
