Turning Bakugo into a cat was always going to look intense, and this figure leans fully into that idea. This official PVC piece of about 12 cm in height reimagines Katsuki Bakugo from My Hero Academia as a chubby feline for Megahouse’s Mega Cat Project Nyanto! The Big Heroaca Cats Series. He’s rendered as a round little body sitting on its paws, but all the key colors and shapes of his hero costume are still there.

In the series, Bakugo is Deku’s explosive rival, a top-class student with the Explosion Quirk and a personality that’s just as volatile. He charges into fights head-on and refuses to accept anything less than the number one spot. Even in cat form, that energy shows through: the sharp black mask around his red eyes, the spiky blast pattern behind his head and the tightly coiled pose all suggest a kitty that could go off at any second. You can almost feel his usual tension packed inside this mascot-style design.

The sculpt shrinks his hero outfit down to a compact, spherical shape. His main body is black, crossed by a big orange “X” harness strapped around his chest and back, with a green belt and simplified gear details placed at the front. His grenade-like gauntlets become two chunky green pieces set on either side. On top, spiky blond hair frames a pair of pink cat ears, while the jagged black mask wraps around his eyes. Behind his head, a bold black-and-orange explosion motif forms a dramatic halo, echoing his Quirk’s blasts.
