Akito Yamada, the character of "My Love Story with Yamada-kun at Lv999," is a quiet and introverted young man, often immersed in the world of video games. He also works as a professional gamer, gaining financial support from sponsors for his participation in FPS games and other titles, including Forest Of Savior. Despite his indifferent appearance, Akito possesses a hidden kindness and is willing to help when necessary. It was during his gaming session in Forest Of Savior that he met Akane Kinoshita, who was unleashed on monsters. Their exchanges are often succinct, which can annoy Akane. Fate brings them together during an IRL event for Forest Of Savior players, where Akito agrees to play the role of Akane's boyfriend to help her deal with her ex-companion. Despite a cold start between them, caring gestures bring these two lonely souls closer together. In the game world, Akito's avatar is a unique-looking elf, sporting an afro.
