PRE ORDER - Evangelion: 3.0+1.0 Thrice Upon a Time - Shinji Ikari figure, Look Up

In Neon Genesis Evangelion, Shinji Ikari is the central character of the work and one of the franchise’s most memorable faces. As the pilot of Evangelion Unit-01, he carries a large part of the series’ emotional weight from the very beginning, with a presence that is far more fragile and inward-looking than that of a typical hero. This official Shinji Ikari PVC figure by Megahouse, from the Look Up line, stands approximately 11 cm tall and presents him in the collection’s signature seated format.

Within the world of Evangelion, Shinji holds an essential place because much of the story is built through his fears, hesitations, and need to be accepted. His complicated relationship with Gendo, his connection with Rei, Asuka, and Kaworu, and his painful relationship to piloting all make him a deeply human character in his vulnerability. He brings a rare intimate tension to the story, caught between loneliness, a desire for closeness, and an inability to find a stable place in the world around him. That sensitivity, withdrawal, and quiet sadness are exactly what define his identity in the series, and the figure reflects that well through its calm and reserved attitude.

Visually, the figure shows Shinji sitting with his legs folded and his hands resting in front of him in the line’s typical pose. He has short brown hair, large blue eyes, and a gentle expression with a slight smile. His outfit stays simple, with a light top, dark gray trousers, and white shoes, which keeps the focus on his face. The compact format and seated posture make it easy to display on a desk or shelf.
