Evangelion:1.0 - Misato Katsuragi figure, Ichibansho

In Neon Genesis Evangelion, Misato Katsuragi is one of the series’ most memorable characters, with a presence that blends authority, warmth, and a very distinctive energy. As a NERV officer and a central figure in Shinji’s everyday life, she holds an immediately recognizable place in the universe, both through her role and through her personality. This official Misato Katsuragi PVC figure by Bandai, from the Ichibansho line, stands approximately 17 cm tall and presents her in a lighter, more relaxed version while still staying true to her recognizable image.

Within the world of Evangelion, Misato holds an essential place because she connects several dimensions of the story. She is at once an operations leader capable of directing battles against the Angels, an imperfect adult dealing with her own flaws, and a more familiar and human presence for Shinji and Asuka. Her relationship with Kaji, her role in Shinji’s life, and the way she alternates between professional seriousness and spontaneity give the character real depth. She brings a lively, sometimes messy energy to the narrative, but also an important emotional strength that balances the coldness of the setting. The figure reflects that more open and expressive side well through a smiling and relaxed attitude.

Visually, the piece shows Misato standing in a forward-leaning pose, with one hand resting on her leg and the other raised in a peace sign. She wears a light yellow strappy top, very short denim shorts, and white heeled sandals. Her long purple hair falls down her back and around her shoulders, while her face shows a wink and a soft smile. The silhouette remains simple, without added scenery, which keeps the focus entirely on her pose and expression. The overall result gives the figure a very clear and easy-to-display presence.
