In Evangelion, Unit-01 is the experimental mecha piloted by Shinji Ikari, instantly recognizable by its purple-and-green armor and the uncontrollable power it can unleash when awakened. This “G Awakening Form” pushes its monstrous nature even further by reimagining EVA-01 as a hybrid creature combining its familiar silhouette with the features of a gigantic kaiju.

Tamashii Nations brings this transformation to the S.H.MonsterArts line with an articulated figure standing approximately 15 cm tall. Its various joints allow the arms, legs, head and long tail to be repositioned for threatening stances and battle scenes, while the included accessories expand the available display options.

Unit-01 retains its purple armor with fluorescent green highlights, red core and tall shoulder structures, but its body is now covered with dark organic textures and dorsal scales. Its head features a tooth-filled jaw, its limbs take on a more bestial appearance and a massive reptilian tail extends behind it, giving this awakened form an unsettling and formidable presence.
