PRE ORDER - Rebuild of Evangelion - Evangelion Test Type-01 figure, Plastic Model Kit Moderoid DX-SCALE

The Evangelion Test Type-01 from Rebuild of Evangelion joins Good Smile Company’s MODEROID DX-SCALE line as an impressive articulated plastic model standing approximately 26 cm tall. The iconic EVA unit piloted by Shinji Ikari is presented here in a larger format designed to reproduce its organic silhouette and distinctive movements, which differ considerably from those of a conventional robot.

The kit includes the Spear of Cassius, Pallet Rifle and Progressive Knife, along with interchangeable hands designed to hold each weapon naturally. The jaw also features a mechanism for recreating memorable scenes in which EVA-01 opens its mouth. Certain sections of the armor react under black light, while the model uses runners molded in multiple colors, including clear parts. Several elements come pre-painted and decals are included to make it easier to recreate the unit’s appearance after assembly.

Once assembled, EVA-01 displays its instantly recognizable combination of purple, vivid green and black with additional orange and yellow accents. The image shows the unit standing in a slightly hunched stance with its long forehead horn, tall shoulder pylons and characteristic slender proportions. Numerous articulation points throughout the arms, legs and torso allow its posture to be adjusted extensively.
