PRE ORDER - Rebuild of Evangelion - Evangelion Test Type-01 figure (Luminous Set Edition), Plastic Model Kit Moderoid DX-SCALE

The Evangelion Test Type-01 from Rebuild of Evangelion returns in a Luminous Set Edition of the MODEROID DX-SCALE kit, a plastic model standing approximately 26 cm tall. This version recreates the iconic unit piloted by Shinji Ikari in a large articulated format designed to capture its organic silhouette, characteristic stance and instantly recognizable purple and green color scheme.

This Luminous Set Edition adds two standalone black light stands as well as a light-up head equipped with a built-in lighting unit that illuminates both eyes. The light can be switched on or off using the included magnetic switching unit. The kit also includes the Spear of Cassius, Pallet Rifle and Progressive Knife, along with interchangeable hands designed for each weapon. A mechanism is included to recreate the Evangelion’s memorable mouth-opening feature, although the light-up head does not support that function. The model uses runners in multiple colors, with some pre-painted parts and included decals to make assembly easier. Batteries are not included, and the set requires 6 AA batteries and 2 LR41 button cell batteries.

The image shows EVA-01 against a dark background, highlighted by the black light effect that makes certain fluorescent armor sections stand out. The green areas glow strongly across the chest, arms, shoulders, legs and feet, while the head displays illuminated eyes in a slightly hunched pose. The tall shoulder pylons, long forehead horn and slender proportions of the unit remain clearly visible in this presentation focused on the luminous effect.
