In the movie Evangelion: 3.0 You Can (Not) Redo, the Evangelion Type-13 makes a strong impression with its tall, eerie silhouette. This model kit version from Kotobukiya’s Model Kit line recreates that design at 1/400 scale, standing about 19 cm tall once assembled. When you finish the build, you get a sleek, imposing EVA that fits right in with the rest of your Evangelion display.

In the story, this EVA is piloted by two pilots and plays a key role in the film’s turning points, using its special abilities in critical battles. Design-wise, you get the classic Evangelion color scheme: segmented purple armor, tall black and neon-green shoulders, a dark chest plate with red cores, and a narrow head with long horn-like protrusions. The black arms ending in pale purple hands emphasize the long, lean proportions, as do the thin legs with yellow kneepads. The kit comes with multiple interchangeable hands, two long red spears, yellow hexagonal effect parts and purple defense units on clear stands so you can arrange them around the mecha. Once built, the Evangelion Type-13 stands securely on its base and can be posed in calm or battle-ready stances without taking too much space on a shelf.
