One Piece - Edward Newgate figure, King of Artist

Whitebeard doesn’t need action effects to feel imposing, and this figure proves it. Edward Newgate from One Piece is brought to life here as a large PVC statue about 33 cm tall from Banpresto’s King of Artist line. With his cloak draped over his shoulders and his massive polearm in hand, he stands like he’s on the deck of the Moby Dick, watching over his crew.

In the series, Edward Newgate is one of the Four Emperors and known as the “strongest man in the world.” Even with the destructive power of the Gura Gura no Mi, he acts first and foremost as a father to his sons, which makes him both terrifying and deeply noble. That duality comes through in this figure: his fist is clenched, his gaze serious under the brim of his hat, and he radiates the calm authority that defines him during the Marineford war.

The sculpt shows Whitebeard in his classic outfit: long white coat with red lining and detailed golden shoulder pads, worn over a black shirt left fully open to reveal his heavily muscled chest. A wide yellow sash holds up his slightly baggy beige pants, tucked into brown boots. His long blond hair flows over his shoulders, and his iconic crescent-shaped moustache dominates the lower half of his face, topped by a white hat bearing his personal Jolly Roger. In his right hand he grips his huge polearm, with a jagged-edged grey blade that extends his silhouette and gives the figure a strong vertical presence on any One Piece shelf.
