This figure draws from the very beginning of One Piece, when the story starts in Luffy’s small hometown and the presence of legendary pirates already shapes his future. Shanks the Red-Haired, captain of the Red Hair Pirates, plays a defining role there, leaving a lasting mark on Luffy through his attitude and the way he embodies freedom at sea. This official PVC figure stands at approximately 15 cm tall, comes from the Ichibansho line, and is manufactured by Banpresto.
In the story, Shanks is a mentor figure, someone who influences Luffy without long speeches, simply through presence and action. Their bond captures the heart of One Piece: passing something on, making a promise, and the kind of raw emotion that sticks with you. The figure reflects that contrast well, with Shanks calm and grounded while Luffy looks overwhelmed, as if the moment is hitting him all at once.
The composition shows Shanks in profile with red hair falling in thick strands, wearing a white shirt open at the collar, one hand resting on Luffy’s head. Luffy is placed lower, face tensed with clenched teeth and narrowed eyes, messy black hair, and a dark outfit visible around the shoulders. A large swirl of translucent blue wave effects wraps around them, creating a dramatic ring of water. Everything sits on a brown cylindrical base shaped like a barrel, with a raised “ROMANCE DAWN” nameplate on the front.
