One Piece - Shanks figure II, Grandista

In One Piece, Shanks holds a very special place among the major figures of the series, with a presence built as much on calm confidence as on the sheer sense of power he gives off. As captain of the Red Hair Pirates and one of the most respected pirates in the world, he leaves a lasting mark on the story from the very beginning, especially through his essential connection to Luffy. This official PVC figure, standing approximately 23 cm tall, comes from the Grandista line and is manufactured by Banpresto, presenting him here in the Shanks, II version.

Shanks plays a central role in One Piece because he represents a form of authority that feels very different from many other major characters. While some rely on fear or violence, he stands out through calm self-control, immense mastery, and the ability to change the tone of a scene through presence alone. His importance in Luffy’s journey, his status in the pirate world, and his aura as an exceptional fighter make him immediately memorable. This figure reflects that identity well through an offensive, grounded, and very direct pose that suits his image as a formidable swordsman.

Visually, Shanks is shown in a combat stance, with his legs spread apart and his body slightly turned forward. He holds his sword extended in front of him, which gives the whole piece an immediate sense of motion. He wears his open white shirt, his long black cape draped over the shoulders, patterned dark red trousers, and dark sandals. His red hair is swept back, his face shows a focused and determined expression, and the silhouette remains very easy to read thanks to the contrast between the black cape, the white upper body, and the thin line of the blade.
