In One Piece, Monkey D. Luffy reaches his Gear 5 transformation during his battle against Kaido on Onigashima, following the awakening of his Devil Fruit whose true nature is revealed as the Hito Hito no Mi, Model: Nika. Banpresto brings this form to the Theorama Soul line with an official PVC figure standing approximately 18 cm tall, using a full composition built around the extraordinary freedom of movement associated with Gear 5.

In this form connected to the legendary Sun God Nika, Luffy can distort both his body and his surroundings with extreme freedom, giving his battles an intentionally exaggerated and unpredictable quality. His appearance also changes, with white hair and clothing, cloud-like wisps surrounding his body and an almost constantly exhilarated expression.
