Megami Device - Desire Maiden Raider Sugar Glaze figure, Plastic Model Kit

Kotobukiya’s Megami Device line combines bishoujo-style characters with mechanical armor and customizable equipment. Desire Maiden Raider Sugar Glaze reimagines the original Desire Maiden Raider design as an articulated 1/1 scale plastic model kit standing approximately 18 cm tall, featuring a new pastel color scheme created by Amaai and Task around the theme of a soft, sugary dessert.

The kit includes three pre-painted and pre-printed face parts illustrated by Amaai, along with Medic’s chest part and nurse headpiece for altering the character’s appearance. Her large wings, sword-like weapons, leather-inspired outfit and long boots can be mixed to create both an unarmed form and a fully equipped configuration. The long twin tails may also be replaced with bun parts, while the machineca body, special display base and 3 mm connection points provide extensive posing options and compatibility with parts from several other Kotobukiya model kit lines.

Soft shades of pink, white and turquoise replace the sharper impression of the original design. The character is shown suspended with one leg bent and the other extended downward, surrounded by broad mechanical units whose long translucent blades spread out on both sides. Her pale hair flows into two long curled twin tails, while the small horns, black components and metallic details add contrast to the light and dynamic composition.
