Wooden 3D puzzle Tempest Dragon

The Ugears Storm Dragon takes the form of a fully mechanical fantasy creature designed as a buildable wooden automaton. Its open construction allows the gears and moving components inside the body to remain visible, while the dragon silhouette combines complex joints, long horns and broadly extended wings.

The mechanism is powered by a rubber-band motor wound with a key located at the front of the chest. Once the start lever is released, the arms, legs, body and wings move together in a coordinated motion. The wings combine a wooden frame with more flexible die-cut paper feathers, while scales and tail spines are engraved directly into the parts. The completed model can be displayed on the included stand or suspended using the supplied string, and assembly requires no glue or special tools.

The Storm Dragon is shown in a flying pose with its body leaning forward and all four limbs slightly drawn inward. Its light wooden construction exposes numerous mechanical components around the torso and joints, while two long horns extend from its head. The broad wings feature blue paper feather panels contrasting with the wooden framework, and the long articulated tail ends in a pointed tip. A curved decorative support holds the dragon above its base.
