PREORDER - Fatal Frame II: Crimson Butterfly Remake - Mio Amakura & Mayu Amakura figure, Oshi Works

Mio Amakura and Mayu Amakura, the twin sisters from Fatal Frame II: Crimson Butterfly Remake, are brought together in this 16 cm PVC figure from Kotobukiya’s Oshi Works line. Depicted sitting back to back, they capture the melancholic and unsettling atmosphere of the game, with several crimson butterflies emphasizing the bond between them. This collectible highlights their understated and realistic appearance, staying faithful to the horror tone of the series.

In Fatal Frame II: Crimson Butterfly, Mio and Mayu become trapped in the abandoned village of Minakami, a place haunted by spirits and scarred by a tragic ritual. Mio, the more determined sister, tries to protect the more fragile Mayu as they move through a story centered on family bonds, sacrifice and memory. This figure directly reflects their relationship through their back-to-back pose and includes iconic elements from the series such as the Camera Obscura and a crimson butterfly that reacts under black light.

The figure shows the two sisters seated on a rocky formation placed on a black rectangular base. Mio and Mayu wear simple outfits in brown, beige and red tones, reflecting the clothing they wear in the game. Their short dark hair, calm expressions and still posture reinforce the quiet mood of the scene. Several red butterflies appear around them, and the Camera Obscura is placed near their feet to complete this composition inspired by the world of Fatal Frame.
