Andromeda Shun is an iconic character from the Saint Seiya series. He is the younger brother of the Bronze Saint Phoenix Ikki and was sent to the island of Andromeda to become a Saint with the mission of protecting the goddess Athena. Endowed with a noble and pacifist nature, he represses his immense power and prefers to offer himself as a sacrifice for peace rather than to fight. He possesses the purest heart of his time and was trained by the Silver Saint Cepheus Albiore, who taught him how to reconcile strength and tenderness within his cosmos. After six years of training, Shun survived the Andromeda Sacrifice, a challenge in which he was chained to two rocks in the open sea and had to escape before the tide completely rose and drowned him. His armor, from the Andromeda constellation, is one of the most powerful in the Bronze category. Not because she is more resistant than the others, but because she is equipped with a formidable weapon: the chains of Andromeda. These are a pair of chains considered the perfect balance between attack and defense, making them extremely versatile in combat. Shun only allows himself to fight in cases of extreme need or when his almost infinite patience comes to an end. In such situations, he proves to be a very skilled and formidable fighter. The Andromeda Shun figure in the Art Scale collection captures the grace and power of this iconic Saint Seiya character.
