PREORDER - Star Wars - Rancor figure, Designer Collectible

The Rancor from Star Wars is reimagined by Sideshow through artist James Groman’s distinctive style in this Designer Collectible vinyl statue measuring approximately 30.5 cm tall, 43 cm wide and 38.7 cm deep. Based on the saga’s iconic creature, this interpretation deliberately exaggerates its proportions, bulk and monstrous features while preserving the essential elements of its familiar appearance.

Best known for its presence in the pit beneath Jabba’s palace, the Rancor is presented here in a scene that evokes both its captivity and its violent escape. Its head, arms and shackles are articulated to allow different poses, while a Gamorrean guard skull is also included. The skull can be placed in one of the Rancor’s claws or used separately as part of the surrounding display.

The image shows the creature in a low, hulking stance with its mouth wide open, covered in heavily textured brown skin and thick armored plates. Its exceptionally long arms end in oversized claws, while a chain and shackle remain attached to one wrist. Numerous growths, folds and sculpted textures across the body reinforce the wild, organic quality of James Groman’s interpretation.
