PREORDER - Steins Gate - Kurisu Makise figure

In Steins;Gate, Kurisu Makise is a young neuroscience researcher whose exceptional intelligence leads her to join Rintaro Okabe’s laboratory and become involved in experiments surrounding time travel. Kotobukiya presents this reproduction of her 1/8 scale figure, standing approximately 24 cm tall and directly based on the illustration created for the Xbox 360 Limited Edition of the game.

After skipping several grades and graduating from university at a young age, Kurisu is already working as a researcher at Viktor Chondria University at the age of 18. Her scientific mind, strong personality and often turbulent exchanges with Okabe play an essential role in the story. The composition incorporates several elements associated with both the character and Steins;Gate, including her damaged mobile phone and an intricate arrangement of gears forming the display base.

Kurisu is depicted seated among a series of intertwined gears that create the impression of her body floating in mid-air. Her long reddish-brown hair falls around her face and shoulders, while she wears her loose beige jacket over a white shirt and red tie, paired with black shorts, brown tights and tall black boots. One leg extends down through the center of the composition while the other is folded close to her body, emphasizing the unusual balance of the pose.
