PREORDER - My Neighbor Totoro - Totoro Umbrella figure, Cristal Kumukumu

Totoro, the large forest spirit from My Neighbor Totoro, appears holding his umbrella in this crystal puzzle figure from Beverly's Kumukumu line. Inspired by Hayao Miyazaki's animated film for Studio Ghibli, this assembly model recreates the character's rounded silhouette using translucent and colored pieces. The different components fit together to form Totoro holding a black umbrella, one of the most recognizable accessories from his appearances in the film.

In My Neighbor Totoro, Satsuki and Mei discover mysterious spirits inhabiting the forest near their new home. The large Totoro notably appears during a rainy nighttime scene when Satsuki lends him an umbrella at a bus stop. Fascinated by the sound of raindrops hitting its surface, he expresses his delight before the Catbus arrives. This Kumukumu puzzle draws inspiration from that memorable encounter, allowing the character to be reconstructed by assembling the different pieces of his body, face and umbrella without glue.

The figure depicts Totoro with a large rounded body made from translucent blue pieces, a white belly and the characteristic gray chevron-shaped markings on his fur. His large white eyes, small dark nose and whiskers are visible on his face, topped by two upright ears. He holds an open black umbrella above his head, with its shaft extending down in front of his body. The transparent puzzle sections reveal the assembly lines, while the opaque belly and umbrella contrast with the bluish tones of his silhouette.
