PREORDER - Princess Mononoke - Kodama figure, Cristal Kumukumu

The Kodama, mysterious little forest spirits from Princess Mononoke, come together in this crystal puzzle figure from Beverly's Kumukumu line. Inspired by the world created by Hayao Miyazaki for Studio Ghibli, this assembly model depicts three Kodama standing on a woodland-themed base. The different translucent pieces fit together to recreate the characters and their surroundings, with transparent effects reflecting their ghostly appearance in the film.

In Princess Mononoke, the Kodama inhabit ancient forests and serve as signs of their vitality. These silent little beings, recognizable by their pale bodies, large dark eyes and distinctive head movements, notably appear during Ashitaka's journey through the Forest Spirit's domain. Their presence emphasizes the connection between fantastical creatures and the fragile balance of nature. This Kumukumu puzzle captures that atmosphere by bringing together three spirits with different expressions in a miniature woodland setting, with individual components that assemble into a complete scene.

The figure features three Kodama with translucent bodies and rounded heads, each displaying a different expression. The one on the left has a smiling face, the central figure features large dark eyes and a small mouth, while the tallest Kodama at the back tilts its head slightly. Their transparent silhouettes stand on an irregular base made from translucent green pieces resembling moss and vegetation. Clear crystalline elements appear around the base, whose sculpted textures and varying shades of green add depth to the woodland scene.
