Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann - Lagann figure (Standard), Metal Compact

Lagann is one of the most iconic elements of Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann, a mecha series built on energy, self-transcendence, and constant escalation. From its very first appearances, this small machine with its instantly recognizable face already embodies the series’ highly distinctive visual identity, blending compact design, mechanical expressiveness, and a strong sense of action. This official 7 cm metal figure by Sentinel, part of the Metal Compact line, presents Lagann in its Standard version with an interpretation focused on its silhouette and its most characteristic accessories.

Within the world of Gurren Lagann, Lagann is not just a secondary machine or a simple vehicle. It is a central part of the main duo’s identity, with a presence that comes as much from its reduced size as from its decisive role and memorable design. This Metal Compact version suits that spirit especially well, because it emphasizes a dense, compact, and highly readable format that stays true to the idea of a small but essential mecha. The figure therefore keeps everything that makes the original design appealing, with a clear presentation of its volumes and its place within the series.

Visually, Lagann is shown with its red face-like mechanical head, marked by a large circular central eye at the top of the forehead and a pair of angular yellow and green eyes that immediately give it a vivid expression. Its body is very compact, with small articulated arms placed at each side and short limbs that reinforce its squat appearance. The upper rear section reveals the cockpit- or turbine-like structure that plays a major part in its iconic design. The product images also show several grey drill accessories, along with a small Simon figure included beside it. Its small size and dense silhouette make it an easy piece to display on a shelf or within a mecha-focused collection.
