The King of Fighters '98 - Kyo Kusanagi figure

Kyo Kusanagi comes from The King of Fighters ’98, an iconic entry in SNK’s fighting game series, known for its classic roster and strong focus on pure matchups. As one of the central figures of The King of Fighters franchise, Kyo is immediately recognizable through his fighting style and flame-based visual identity. This official PVC figure by Kotobukiya depicts him in 1/8 scale with an approximate height of 26 cm, in a very readable combat pose.

Within the KOF universe, Kyo holds a major place as one of the saga’s most emblematic characters, with a confident personality, a strong presence, and a fighting style built around speed and fire techniques. His role across the series makes him an immediate reference point for fans of the early arcs and recurring tournaments. This figure captures that identity well by emphasizing a self-assured attitude and an offensive stance, with a composition that clearly feels like a moment just before an attack.

Visually, Kyo is shown standing in a dynamic pose with legs apart and the upper body slightly angled, with one arm raised above his head. A translucent orange flame effect appears at the raised hand, immediately reinforcing his fighter identity. He wears an open black jacket, a white tank top, black pants, and white shoes, with a visible brown belt at the waist. His brown hair is short with a fringe falling across the forehead, and the other arm features a dark glove/bracer with gold trim details. The round black base displays a colorful KOF ’98-related graphic, which works well as part of the shelf presentation.
