The Lord of the Rings - Olog-hai of the Black Gate figure

In The Lord of the Rings, the war for Middle-earth reaches its breaking point at the gates of Mordor, where Sauron’s forces crash forward with raw brutality. The Olog-hai of the Black Gate embodies that frontline terror: a war troll made to crush and intimidate. This official Weta Workshop piece is crafted in resin, with approximate dimensions of 12.5 x 13.5 x 13 cm, designed like a frozen moment mid-assault.

At the Black Gate, the Olog-hai are used as living siege weapons, hulking shock troops sent in to break lines and spread panic. There’s nothing subtle about them: just weight, rage, and the sense that a single step could flatten a soldier. The figure captures that battlefield executioner role, with an aggressive stance and a striking motion that feels ready to come down at any second.

What you can see is a massive troll with dark grey skin, mouth wide open in a roar, teeth clearly visible. One arm is raised overhead holding a short blade, while the other grips a dark weapon with a spiked head. Heavy armor plates cover the shoulders and upper body, with rough, uneven shapes and worn metallic tones. The scene sits on a dark oval base with a light ground surface, making it easy to display cleanly on a shelf.
